In the third quarter of 2024, the top business apps on the Android platform in Switzerland showcased various trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Microsoft Authenticator maintained a steady upward trajectory in weekly downloads, starting at 3.8K in early July and peaking at 6.4K by mid-August. The app also saw a gradual increase in weekly active users, climbing from 296K to over 346K by the end of September.

Microsoft Teams experienced a fluctuating download pattern, initially at 2.4K, with a mid-quarter peak of 4.8K in late August. Active users showed a similar trend, with a rise from 122K to a peak of nearly 149K in mid-September, before dropping to 113K by the end of the quarter.

Zoom Workplace demonstrated consistent weekly revenue, with figures ranging between $560 and $1.1K. Downloads increased steadily from 1.4K to 1.6K over the quarter, while active users rose from 10.2K to a peak of 11.6K before settling at 11K.

Adobe Scan: PDF Scanner, OCR showed a stable revenue stream, averaging around $340 to $485. Downloads per week increased from 1.1K to 1.2K, and active users remained consistently above 11K, reaching 12K at the quarter's close.

Intune Company Portal saw a moderate increase in downloads, starting at 1.1K and climbing to 1.4K by the end of September. The app maintained a stable number of active users, hovering around 23K, with a slight peak at 25K towards the end of the quarter.
